In this 12- to 18-month-long engagement, NLA staff and consultants work closely with emerging, progressive leaders to help them identify strengths, challenges, and needs, then match them with appropriate trainings, resources, and experts. We focus on core capacity-building functions such as strategic planning, diversity and inclusion, organizational development, communications, and fundraising, among other areas.

NLA provides hands-on technical assistance including organizational assessment, referrals to carefully vetted experts, connections to others in the field, and access to training and other resources. We offer these services in 30- or 60-minute, one-on-one appointments each week.
